Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Abdikadir Mohamed Nur and his Ugandan counterpart, Hon. Vincent B. Ssempijja who is on a working visit to Mogadishu signed a supplementary defense agreement, strengthening our defense cooperation since our initial MoU in 2022.
This collaboration marks a significant step towards enhanced security and mutual support between our countries.
“A bilateral meeting with my counterpart, the Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs of the Republic of Uganda Hon. Vincent B. Ssempijja which was held at the Ministry of Defense HQ, Mogadishu on the 20th February 2024,” the Defense Minister said.
