Mogadishu(SONNA)-Court of Armed forces on Monday sentenced a soldier from Somali National Army’s special unit(Gor-gor) to 15 years in prison and pay 100 camels of being behind the killing of another soldier at SNA base in Dhusamareb town in Galmudug State, SONNA reported.
Chairperson of the Somalia’s military court branch in Galmudug State, Abdullahi Abukar Hassan said that the court found Abdullahi Mohamed Tohow guilty of killing Nuradin Deq Hassan on December 16, 2021, saying the 100 camels are the compensation for the deceased soldier.
He added that the Court’s hearings and session was closed after reaching the decision of the fate on-going prosecution.
