Ceeldheer, (SONNA) — The Somali National Army (SNA) commanders have held a consultative meeting with traditional elders and community representatives in Ceeldheer district to enhance security and stability in the area.
The session, attended by the Commander of the 24th Brigade, Lt. Col. Diyaar Sheikh Abdisalan, the Commander of the 28th Brigade, Col. Ali Waamo, unit leaders, and local officers, resulted in an agreement to resolve a recent dispute in the Hul-Caduur area under Ceeldheer district.
Traditional elders pledged to support efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability, while working closely with national and local security forces.
The military officials urged elders to actively cooperate in consolidating stability in Ceeldheer and surrounding areas, and called on them to assist in the ongoing operations against Al-Shabaab in eastern Galgaduud.
