Mogadishu(SONNA)- Hirshabelle State Parliament has today on Saturday unanimously approved presidential electoral commission in a special session in Jowhar town, the administrative capital of Hirshabelle in Somalia, SONNA reported.
Parliament speaker, Abdihakim luqman Haji Muhumed announced the result, saying that 72 parliament members accepted the electoral commission of the president and his deputy and 2 others rejected.
“ 74 Hirshabelle State Parliament members attended today’ session which was to pass the newly appointed commission of the election of the president and his deputy. 72 lawmakers voted yes in favor of the commission while two others rejected”, Mr. Muhumed said.
He added that they are working to produce the time table of the presidential election date soon.
