Mogadishu(SONNA)-Minister of the Health of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Fawziya Abikar Nor on Tuesday encouraged the public to take Covid-19 vaccine, which is available and has now been distributed throughout the country.
The Minister called on the media and religious leaders to raise awareness about the benefits of the vaccine following the misinterpretation made upon against the vaccine locally and globally.
“We commend the country’s scholars for their efforts in raising awareness about COVID-19, and encourage them to continue their efforts and share with the community about the dangers of COVID-19,” Dr. Fawziya said in a statement.
