Mogadishu (SONNA) – In a significant move to bolster security and enhance cooperation, the Governor of Banadir Region, Mohamed Ahmed Amiir, convened a pivotal meeting with the Commander of the Somali Police Force, Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, and the Chief Judge of the Banadir Regional Court, Saleh Ali Mahmoud.

The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss the collaboration between the Somali Police Force and the new administration of the Banadir region. This cooperation aims to enhance security measures and ensure the safety of Mogadishu, the nation’s capital, and the broader region.

Governor Amiir expressed his gratitude to Brigadier General Abdullahi for the notable improvements in security during his tenure. He commended the Police Force’s exceptional performance in ensuring security and fostering cooperation between the police and the public. “The changes in security under Brigadier General Abdullahi’s leadership have been remarkable,” said Governor Amiir. “The cooperation between the police and the public is crucial for maintaining peace and safety in our region.”

The meeting shows the commitment of Banadir region’s leadership to work closely with law enforcement agencies to create a secure and stable environment for all residents. This collaborative effort is expected to significantly contribute to the overall safety and development of Somalia.
