Mogadishu, SONNA — The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, held a pivotal meeting with officers from the Asia and Australia Department, led by the department’s Director, Mr. Said Jama Mire.
During the meeting, Ambassador Fiqi reviewed the department’s progress and discussed strategies to further strengthen its operations. Key areas of focus included enhancing Somalia’s diplomatic ties with nations in Asia and Australia and implementing measures to align the department’s work with the broader objectives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Minister commended the team for their tireless efforts and dedication, underscoring the critical role they play in fostering strong international relationships. He urged the officers to continue their exemplary service in representing Somalia’s interests abroad and serving the Somali people.
