Deputy Police Commander Bids Farewell to Troops Departing for Training in Egypt

Mogadishu, (SONNA): Brigadier General Osman Mohamed Abdullahi (Kaniif), the Acting Commander and Deputy Commander of the Somali Police Force, bid farewell to a contingent of troops set to undergo training in Egypt.

During the ceremony, Brigadier General Kaniif listened attentively to a detailed report from the Training and Planning Directorate, which meticulously organized the trip for the troops. He emphasized the importance of the training and encouraged the troops to fully embrace this invaluable opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge.

The General expressed his confidence in the troops’ ability to excel in their training and highlighted the significance of applying the knowledge gained to improve the overall capabilities of the Somali Police Force. He urged the troops to return with new insights and strategies that would bolster the security and stability of Somalia.

This training initiative, facilitated by the cooperation between Somalia and Egypt, aims to strengthen the professional development of the Somali Police Force. It represents a vital step towards enhancing the effectiveness and readiness of the police force in maintaining law and order across the nation.
