Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Salah Ahmed Jama paid a courtesy call to the National Independent Electoral Commission and boundaries, and he was briefed by the commission.
The members of the committee provided a detailed briefing on the extensive work they have accomplished during their first month in office and outlined the plans currently in place to expedite the implementation of one-person, one-vote elections, a key aspiration of the Somali people.
The (DanQaran) government has reiterated its commitment to supporting the committee by facilitating tasks related to the various stages of implementing these elections, ensuring steady progress toward achieving this significant national goal.
