Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Mohamed Hassan Bulaale welcomed the Minister of Health of the SSC-Khaatumo regional administration, Dr. Yusuf Saleebaan, along with MP Osman Ali Jubba, for high-level discussions aimed at strengthening collaboration between the federal and regional health institutions.
The meeting focused on enhancing coordination to improve healthcare delivery for Somali citizens, particularly in SSC areas. Both ministers agreed to accelerate efforts to expand medical services in the region, with a focus on maternal and child health, immunization programs, emergency services, and the training and capacity building of healthcare personnel.
The visit underscores a shared commitment to equitable healthcare development and deeper federal-regional cooperation to ensure quality medical services reach underserved communities across Somalia.
