Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Minister of Health of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Mohamed Hassan Bulaale, alongside the Chairman of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mohamud Moalim Abdulle, presided over a high-level meeting focused on strengthening coordination for emergency response and humanitarian aid in areas affected by ongoing military operations against extremist militants.
During the meeting, SoDMA’s Director of Health, Dr. Abdullahi Muse Ahmed, emphasized the critical need for streamlined coordination in delivering humanitarian assistance, including the establishment of medical centers to treat the wounded and provide healthcare services to civilians impacted by the conflict.
The meeting, held at SoDMA’s headquarters, brought together representatives from the Somali National Army Command, the Ministry of Health of Hirshabelle State, and the management of Madina Hospital. Discussions centered on enhancing collaboration between government agencies and healthcare providers to ensure timely and effective emergency medical support.
