MOGADISHU — Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, Wang Yu, paid a high-level courtesy visit to the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, engaging in strategic dialogue with Minister Hassan Moalim Mohamud. The meeting served as a platform to reinforce the diplomatic synergy between Beijing and Mogadishu, specifically focusing on the modernization of Somalia’s legal infrastructure and the inviolability of its national borders.
Ambassador Wang Yu utilized the visit to articulate China’s unwavering stance regarding the political independence and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia. In a region often marked by shifting geopolitical alliances, the Ambassador’s remarks highlighted Beijing’s position as a consistent ally in safeguarding Somalia’s unity.
