Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Federal Government of Somalia expresses its deep solidarity with the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan following the explosion that occurred during Friday prayers near an Imam Bargah Mosque in the Tarlai area of Shehzad Town, on the outskirts of Islamabad, which resulted in at least 31 fatalities and 169 injuries.
Somalia extends its sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wishes a swift and full recovery to all those injured. The Government of Somalia strongly condemns all acts of violence targeting civilians and places of worship and reaffirms its solidarity with Pakistan in efforts to safeguard peace, security, and social harmony.
