Deputy Police Commissioner Chairs Monthly Technical Committee Meeting on Stabilization Affairs

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Police Commissioner of Somalia, Brigadier General Osman Abdullahi Mohamed (Kaniif), presided over the monthly meeting of the Technical Committee on Stabilization Affairs held at the headquarters of the Somali Police Force.

The meeting was attended by all directors of liaison departments from various ministries and government agencies involved in stabilization efforts. The committee’s chairman, Abdicasiis Ahmed Gurbiye, provided an overview of the committee’s history, the scope of its work, and its objectives. Presentations were also made on security operations, police stabilization efforts, and the committee’s achievements during its tenure.

Brigadier General Osman Abdullahi Mohamed (Kaniif) commended the committee’s work and emphasized the importance of unifying stabilization messages and awareness efforts in areas liberated from the Khawarij militants. He highlighted the ongoing efforts by the Somali Police Force and noted that the command is particularly encouraging frontline officers. He urged committee members to develop unified communication plans for their offices to serve the Somali people better.

This meeting underscores the concerted efforts by the Somali government and its agencies to ensure stability and security in the country.
