Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Mahmoud Abdirahman Sheikh Farah (Beenebeene), participated in a critical discussion on U.S. foreign policy and its implications for the Horn of Africa, particularly for Somalia. The event took place in Mogadishu and was organized by the National Development Management Agency.
The discussion brought together senior officials, foreign policy experts, and representatives from international organizations, focusing on key issues in the region.
In his remarks, Minister Beenebeene highlighted the significance of strengthening trade and investment relations between Somalia and the United States. He emphasized that the Ministry of Planning is actively working to implement strategies that encourage effective cooperation with developed nations, particularly to enhance the Somalia-U.S. relationship.
