Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Governor of Banadir and the Mayor of Mogadishu, H.E Mohamed Ahmed Amir laid the foundation stone of the new National Garden (Beerta Ummadda) of Banadir region as part of the development project of the capital.
Mayor Amir announced the new project aimed at creating spaces for relaxation and tourism that foster community interaction. This initiative will provide opportunities for students, tourists, and various segments of society to come together.
The project will be implemented in the Waaberi District, specifically in an area close to Aden Adde International Airport. The stone-laying ceremony was attended by Waaberi District Commissioner Mr. Mohamed Said Ali, directors, and members of the community.
