Mogadishu, (SONNA) – Somalia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Salah Ahmed Jama, conducted official visits to the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, and the Ministry of Public Works and Housing as part of a comprehensive government oversight initiative.
The visits are aimed at assessing the performance of ministries and government institutions, ensuring their work aligns with the government’s priorities in serving the Somali people.
During the visits, Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama engaged with senior officials from the ministries, receiving detailed updates on their ongoing projects, challenges, and plans for improving public service delivery.
He urged the ministries to strengthen accountability, transparency, and efficiency in their operations to ensure that public services directly benefit Somali citizens. The Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of aligning their strategic plans with the National Transformation Plan (NTP) to achieve sustainable and inclusive development.
This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to fostering good governance and advancing development goals critical to Somalia’s progress.
