Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Public Works, Reconstruction and Housing of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Abdisalam Ali on Monday signed an agreement on flood risk and storm water drainage assessment for Beledweyn and Dhusamareb cities with Consulting and Technical Studies (CATS) Company.
The study will provide a comprehensive architecture for drainages that will prevent flooding in the cities.
The project signed by the Ministry of Public Works follows the Somali Urban Resilience Project Phase two (SURP-II) also known as Nagaad Project.
