Mogadishu, April 11, 2024 (SONNA) – The Minister of Internal Security, Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail (Fartag), and the Commander of the Somali Police Force, Brigadier General Sulub Ahmed Firin, joined the Somali police orphans in Eid celebrations at Peace Park, Mogadishu to show community and care
The festive event, marking the joyous occasion of Eid, saw high-ranking officials including the First Deputy Commander of the Somali Police Force, Brigadier General Osman Abdullahi Mohamed (Kaniif), come together to share in the happiness of the children who have lost their parents in the line of duty.
Brigadier General Sulub Ahmed Firin extended heartfelt Eid greetings to the children, reflecting the spirit of unity and hope that Eid brings to the Islamic world and particularly to Somalia. He expressed his wishes for peace and prosperity, resonating with the sentiments of the nation on this auspicious day.
The event not only provided a sense of belonging and joy to the orphans but also reinforced the commitment of the Somali government and police force to the welfare of the families of their service members.
