Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre participated in a forum organised by Heritage Institute in Mogadishu discussing ‘fostering a culture of Peace in the Horn’.
The Prime Minister was welcomed by the head of the Institution, Mr. Mursal Saney to open the forum’s second day.
“Islam teaches us to establish the state because the state is integral to peace. Therefore, it’s inevitable that we strengthen our institutions,” the Prime Minister said.
“The Ethiopian Embassy is still active, we did not ask them to leave, their soldiers are still here, we did not ask them to leave, their airplanes still work in Somalia, we did not ask them to stop coming, we did not do such things because we want to solve the issues diplomatically and peacefully,” PM Hamza added.
