Mogadishu, SONNA – President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has sent his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who were killed in Tuesday’s clashes in Garowe town. He called on traditional elders to play their role in ending the conflict and bringing peace to the region.
In his statement President Mohamud expressed his deep sorrow at the loss of life and urged all parties involved to come together and find a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
He emphasized the importance of dialogue and understanding in resolving disputes and called on all leaders to work towards finding a solution that benefits everyone.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre also expressed his condolences to the families of those who died in the clashes in Garowe, the capital of Puntland.
He urged an immediate end to the conflict and called for disputes to be resolved through dialogue and understanding.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need for calm and restraint in order to prevent further loss of life. The leaders work towards finding a peaceful resolution.
