Istanbul (SONNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Abdisaid M.Ali, participated on Friday in a Ministerial level meeting at the 3rd Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit.
The Minister underlined that this renewed strategic relationship and cooperation will reach new heights at both the multilateral and bilateral level. H.E Abdisaid M. Ali also welcomed the adoption of the Declaration and stated that Somalia looks forward to the implementation of the Action Plan which will be of mutual benefit to both Somalia and Turkey.
H.E Abdisaid M. Ali concluded, that he hopes the rest of Africa will too, embrace Turkey’s readiness to invest and vice-versa—and to turn challenges into opportunities on continent as the Covid-19 recovery begins.
This long-awaited Summit is the 3rd Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit, the first was held in Istanbul in 2008 and the second in 2014 in Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea.
