Mogadishu(SONNA)-Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Hussein Roble on Sunday visited Barawe town in lower Shabelle region ahead parliament election to observe the security situation there, SONNA reported.
The Prime Minister and his delagation received warm welcome when they landed at the airfield of the port town of Barawe, the administrative capital of Southwest State in Somalia.
He is expected to hold talks with Southwest State President, Abdiaziz Lafta-gareen, district officials, local elders, SNA and AMISOM officials in the town as it is one two electoral districts to have elections be held.
Government ministers, Chairperson of the Federal Electoral Implementation team and regional officials are accompanying the Premier’s visit to Barawe today.
