Mogadishu(SONNA):-United Nations Higher Commissioner for Refugees(UNHCR) and World Health Organization(WHO) on Thursday brought a cargo plane aid consignment of 22.5 metric tons necessary kits in the capital Mogadishu to distribute to people affected by the recent floods of rivers and rainy-falls in the country, SONNA reported.
Somali Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Hamza Said Hamza thanked UNHCR and WHO for their swift and timely response to the governments plea towards the current floods in the country that caused havoc. Families have lost their valuables and are facing greater danger.
