Mogadishu(SONNA)-300 new Police forces were on Monday sworn in, to take part in security operations aimed at protecting the safety and security of the people in the Somali capital Mogadishu during the holy month of Ramadan after completing the training course.

In a significant boost to the security forces of Somalia, the Somali Police Force celebrated the swearing-in of 300 newly trained soldiers. The ceremony, held at the General Kahiye Police Training School, was graced by the presence of the Commander of the Somali Police Force, Brigadier General Sulub Ahmed Firin.

The event marked the culmination of rigorous training for the new soldiers, who are now poised to contribute to the safety and security of Somali citizens. Brigadier General Zakiye Hussein Ahmed, the Deputy Commander of the Somali Police Force, along with other high-ranking officers, were also in attendance to witness the momentous occasion.

The addition of these soldiers to the police force is a testament to the ongoing efforts to strengthen law enforcement capabilities within the country. As they take their oath, the new force stands ready to uphold the law and protect the people of Somalia.

This ceremony is not just a formality but a declaration of commitment from these brave men and women who have dedicated themselves to serving their nation. With their induction, the Somali Police Force continues to fortify its ranks and reaffirms its dedication to maintaining peace and order in Somalia.
