Peru, (SONNA) – At least 24 people lost their lives in a tragic bus accident in northern Peru on early morning.
The bus, operated by the company Q’Orianka Tours Aguila Dorada, was carrying 60 passengers when it plunged off a cliff in the El Alto district.
According to local authorities, Peru’s transportation supervisory agency, SUTRAN, confirmed the crash and is currently investigating the cause of the incident.
The agency did not provide an official number of fatalities or injuries.
