Addis Ababa(SONNA)-The United States’ Embassy in Addis Ababa has on Wednesday expressed deep concern over a recently released video showing men, women, and elders being abused, with some possibly killed.

“Having reviewed the recently released video of men, women and elders being abused, and perhaps even killed, much remains unclear. But one thing is clear: Ethiopians abusing Ethiopians anywhere can only lead to more sorrow and heartache. Peaceful, respectful dialogue is the key to a brighter future”, The U.S Ambassador to Ethiopia, Ervin Massinga said.

The embassy called for peaceful and respectful dialogue as the key to a brighter future for Ethiopia, urging unity and understanding to address the nation’s challenges.
