Mogadishu(SONNA)- Two Al-Shabab militants were on Tuesday surrendered to Somali National Army and local forces based in Ceel-dheer district in Galgudud region under Galmudug State in Somalia.
Hussein Dahir Moalim and Calas Ibrahim Ahmed both voluntarily decided to come out the push and Al-Shabaab line to benefit Somali Government’s amnesty according to the military officials.
Number of the militant fighters leaving the group and surrendering the Somali National Army have increased in the past six month due to pressure and fear of Somali Army’s offensive operations in the region according to Somali National News Agency.
