Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The United State of America, the United Kingdom, the United Nations and other countries and international organisations sent their congratulations to the Federal Republic of Somalia on the 64th anniversary on the independence.
“The US Embassy in Mogadishu congratulates the Somali people on this important day. Your resilience and unending spirit inspire our lasting friendship ‘Hambalyo’!,” the embassy said in X platform.
“Mr. President, as you and the people of Somalia celebrate the special occasion of your national independence day, my wife and I have great pleasure in conveying our heartfelt congratulations to Your Excellency and the Somali people.
I value the bond between our nations, and hope that our countries can continue to work closely together on important global issues, whether they be peace and prosperity, or environment and climate change, which will benefit our future generations for years to come.
My wife and I would like to take this opportunity to send you and all Somalis our warmest good wishes for the coming year,” King Charles III said.
