Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of National Planning, HE Jamal Mohamed Hassan, accompanied by the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation at the Ministry, HE Zahra Abdi Mohamed, received a delegation from the United Nation’s Immigration and Migrants Agency led by HE Mohamed Abdiker, the Agency’s Representative of East and Horn of Africa, they discussed the new IOM Strategy, the situation of IDPs and refugees.
The two sides agreed to strengthen the deepening relationship between the Ministry and IOM with a focus on peace-building, poverty reduction and finding lasting solutions to the issue of IDPs.
