Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hamza Abdi Barre, inaugurated the meeting of the National Committee on Vaccination, Polio Eradication and the Somali Children’s Forum.
The Prime Minister pointed out the importance of vaccination and eradication of dangerous diseases such as polio, to ensure that Somali children receive quality health-care.
The Prime Minister specifically spoke about the government’s efforts in fighting the diseases and future plans to protect the health of the community, especially children.
The meeting focused on developing and strengthening efforts to eradicate polio and promote the vaccination program, and save the Somali children.
