Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Consultative meeting between the political leaders of Somalia continues for the second day in Mogadishu which discusses the political process, the eradication of the Al-Shabaab terrorists, the review of the constitution, democratization, and the elections of the country.
The meeting was called by the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and sent invitations to the former leaders so that they take part in the political process of the country.
This meeting that discusses the political process of Somalia is the first of its kind and apart from the former leaders attending the meeting, the two Speakers of the Parliament and the Prime Minister will join today.
The focus of the meeting today will be the direction of the elections and discussion on the results of the National Consultative meeting which was attended by the Federal Member States, the Banadir Regional Administration, and the Federal Government.
