Mogadishu, (SONNA) The State Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Abdinur Dahir Fiidow together with the Deputy Commander of the Somali National Army, Gen. Madey Nurey Sh. Ufurow and other officials visited the Somali Disaster Management Agency’s (SoDMA) Headquarters in Mogadishu.
The State Minister and the officials were welcomed by the Commissioner of the SoDMA, Mohamud Moalim Abdulle.
The discussions focused on how the army and the agency can cooperate to deliver humanitarian aid to the people affected by the flash floods in parts of the country which caused deaths, destruction, and displacements.
The Commissioner of SoDMA thanked the Armed Forces, the Police force, and the Somali security agencies for their support to the people.
