Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Speaker of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, welcomed members of the Union of Somali Universities to his office today.
During the meeting, Speaker Abdi Hashi emphasized the important role of the education community in shaping the future of Somali children. He praised their relentless efforts in nurturing generations of talented individuals who have played a crucial role in steering the country away from ignorance and conflict.
“The education community is the backbone of our nation’s future. Their dedication and hard work have been instrumental in saving our children from ignorance and conflict,” said Speaker Abdi Hashi. “They have produced generations of talented individuals who are the hope of our nation.”
In a bid to further enhance the education system, Speaker Abdi Hashi directed the Social Affairs Committee of the Senate to collaborate closely with the Union of Somali Universities. This partnership aims to bring about significant improvements in the country’s education system, ensuring a brighter future for Somali children.
