The Government of South Sudan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Egypt to enhance military cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement came in the wake of the recent visit by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of South Sudan to Cairo to attend the Egypt International Defense Industries Exhibition 2023.
The Minister of Information of South Sudan stated that the memorandum of understanding will be activated in the near future, as the Egyptian Minister of Defense will be invited by his South Sudanese counterpart to attend a meeting, after which the agreement will be implemented.
