Baidoa, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, together with the President of the Southwest State, H.E Abdiazis Hassan Mohamed, inspected the Bay Regional Hospital, where he reviewed the medical services, the needs and the condition of the patients.
The President, who listened to reports from the health community and the regional administration, instructed the government to work on finding a solution to the health needs of the center, and noted that the government is prioritizing the provision of basic services to the community.
Furthermore, the President visited the IDP Camps where hundreds of families who have fled from the terror crisis and were affected by the drought in the region reside.
President Hassan Sheikh inspected the sections of the Holy Qur’an school and the Middle School in the camp which he promised to build during his previous visit to Baidoa, and now both are working, as the President emphasized that he would work to expand educational services of the displaced people in the camp and the development of these knowledge centers that he implemented.
