Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) of the Federal Government of Somalia has officially joined the Arab Anti-Corruption and Integrity Network (ACINET), as part of efforts to strengthen regional cooperation, accountability, and the fight against corruption.
Joining ACINET provides the Office of the Auditor General with opportunities to benefit from the experiences and cooperative programs of regional countries, aiming to enhance efforts against corruption, strengthen accountability, and promote good governance. ACINET leads in promoting transparency and integrity and includes several institutions from Arab and East African countries.
The Office of the Auditor General of Somalia will continue its efforts in reinforcing accountability, leveraging global platforms that can aid in enhancing its capabilities and impact.
