Addis Ababa,[SONNA] – The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Abdullahi Mohamed Warfaa, presented the ODA AWARD medal to the Deputy Director of the National Culture and Entertainment Agency, Maki Haji Banadir, who went on a business trip to Ethiopia, accompanied by the head of the art and cultural department of the Somali Ministry of Information.
The ODA AWARD medal is an award given to countries in the Horn of Africa and international organizations that have made significant progress in the fields of culture, art and literature. A major event in Addis Ababa officially announced the results that the Federal Republic of Somalia has officially won the ADO AWARD in 2023 and has reached this level due to the efforts of the government and the reconstruction of its cultural institutions, and also It was mentioned in the forum that the Government of Somalia has entered an open competition for this medal and it has completely won against the countries of the Horn of Africa.
Ambassador Warfaa, in collaboration with the Office of the Information, Culture and Tourism Section of the Federal Republic of Somalia’s Embassy in Ethiopia, has put a lot of effort into making the Republic of Somalia appear in the international arena to discuss or compete for major achievements at the national level.
