Algeria (SONNA):Somalia is participating in the 18th Conference of Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Arab World, which kicked off yesterday in Algeria under the title of “Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Arab World by 2030: Vision and Directions”.
In the summit ,Somalia’s delegation headed by State Minister for Education, Culture & Higher Learning H.E Abdirahman Mohamud Abdulle, Director General of Education, Culture and Higher Learning Ministry Mr. Ismail Yusuf Osman.
Education State Minister briefed the participants on the status of education in Somalia and the Ministry’s vision for education in Somalia.
The conference will discuss several topics related to the event’s theme. It will also discuss the topic of ‘higher education and scientific research in Algeria: current situation and future prospects’.
The three-day conference is being organized in cooperation with the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).
