Mogadishu(SONNA)- Somalia Frontline States Summit has on Wednesday kicked of in the capital Mogadishu with attendence of Djiboutian President, Ismael Omar Guelleh, Kenyan President, William Ruto, and Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed.
President Hassan Sh. Mohamud, who hosted the summit, opened it, focusing on ways stenghening cooperation on regional security strategy and countering the terrorist militant group of Al-Shabaab.
The Leaders are expected to issue a communique on areas of their discussions and what they agreed to regarding the one day summit on the security issues later this afternoon.
