New York, (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ahmed Moallim Fiqi met with the Permanent Representative of the Democratic Republic of Congo to the United Nations, Mr. Zanon Ngay Mukongo in New York, USA.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations, and the political development and security of Africa.
The two leaders also discussed putting a focus on improving economic relations, respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two countries, and pointed that African problems need African solutions and also to keep the safety of the Somali citizens working in the DRC.
