Cairo, (SONNA) – The Speaker of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nour and his delegation met with the Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives, Counselor Hanafi Gebali, as part of an official visit to Cairo.
The Speaker was received at Cairo airport by the Ambassador of Somalia to Egypt, Elias Sheikh Omar, and officials from the Egyptian Parliament.
The Speaker is expected to hold meetings with Egyptian officials during the visit to discuss strengthening Somali-Egyptian parliamentary relations, joint cooperation in various fields and exchanging parliamentary experiences between the two brotherly countries.
