Bali, SONNA – Senator Hussein Mohamed Dahir of the Somali Parliament participated in the 10th World Water Forum, a triennial event organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and hosted by Indonesia. The forum aims to unite world parliaments to enhance water sharing and prosperity.
In his address, Senator Hussein highlighted Somalia’s efforts to address water challenges, including constructing new water wells and restoring existing sources. He detailed the government’s initiatives to improve the nation’s water infrastructure and the development of a policy framework to optimize water management and resource use. This policy aims to significantly enhance Somalia’s water security and management strategies.
