Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, held a farewell meeting for the Ambassador of Turkey, Amb. Mehmet Yilmaz, who concluded his diplomatic work in the country.
The President praised Ambassador Yilmaz for the role he played in strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries, especially in drought relief, the fight against terrorism and support for the government of Somalia.
Ambassador Mehmet Yilmaz thanked the President for this meeting and indicated how happy he is with the cooperation shown by the government and the Somali people, while he was carrying out his diplomatic duties.
