The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended a remembrance and prayer event for the late veteran Somali politician and former President of Somalia’s northern region, Somaliland, Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud (Siilaanyo), held in Mogadishu on Friday.
After the prayer event President Hassan Sheikh stopped in a bustling business area in Mogadishu’s Hodan district for shopping. He engaged with both the staff and shoppers, greeting them with handshakes and friendly conversation.
