Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali Police Spokesman, Khasim Ahmed Roble told the media that an operation carried out by the police force around 12:00 midnight in Mogadishu has successfully seized 140 mortars.
The spokesman said that the operations were conducted in several areas after the Al-Shabaab terrorists launched two mortars in Mogadishu.
The spokesman also confirmed that the fires in Bakaara market this morning were caused by the militants after they hid explosives in a junk yard.
