Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army conducted offensive operations against the Al-Shabaab terrorists in areas in the Lower Shabelle region.
The operations were carried out by Danab Commandos with a planned attacks against the terrorist militants in Dudumay, Buulo Gaduud, Madax Maroodi, and Yaqbiri in the Lower Shabelle region.
The Army provided medical assistance to the local people in the areas where the operations were conducted.
The army chased away the terrorists who were hiding there, praising the people for supporting the army and sending messages against terrorism.
The second phase of the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorists will soon begin in the Southwest areas as the president of the Federal Republic announced.
