Mogadishu (SONNA)-The Somali National Army (SNA) had conducted operations targeting Al Shabaab militants who attacked a military base on the outskirts of Afgoye district in Lower Shabelle region, SONNA reported.
According to preliminary reports from SONNA, the militant group attempted to attack the Somali National Army bases in Sabid and Anole areas.
The troops succeeded with the operations killing some of the militant groups and arresting more.
