Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army conducted planned operations in areas under God-gaduud Burey in Bay region and was led by the Commander of the 47th Brigade of the ground troops of SNA, Ahmed Mohamednur (Ahmed Dhagey) and was conducted in Misgale, Warta, Kormar, Durow, and more areas under Bay region.
The areas that the SNA conducted operations and cleared were used by the terrorist militants to recruit militias and collect extortion from the local people.
The Somali National Army and the Local forces are conducting operations in all areas where the Al-Shabaab terrorists are hiding, and any other location they used to extort the people.
The army chased away the terrorists who were hiding there, praising the people for supporting the army and sending messages against terrorism.
The second phase of the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorists will soon begin in the Southwest areas as the president of the Federal Republic announced.
