Commercial activities and means of transport is said to be highly affected in Johar region due to the rise of the current level of River shabelle.

The recent summer rains affected Afgoye district and the forecasted rains may affect  it again in the next seven days as the River is said to have raised its level

The sea waves are also forcasted to rise which may cause loss of lives and property to small boat operators and coastal tourist around the sea.
